She was predeceased by: her parents, Arthur Henry Tostenson and Pearl Blom Tostenson (Blom); her daughter-in-law Julieta Margarita Alvarado-Rieppel; her grandparents, Henry, Betsy Tostenson, Alfred and Mathilda Blom; and her sisters-in-law, Melba Feldhake and Shirley Boraas.
She is survived by: her siblings, Yvonne Elaine, Arthur Henry, Jr. and David Allen; her grandchild Lexi; her children, Daniel Rieppel of Minneapolis, Tracy (Steven Carlsen) and Kerry (Michael Dunham); her former husband Sheldon Rieppel; her grandchildren, Ingrid Pederson, Erich Rieppel, Alexis Carlsen, Lauren Carlsen, Katherine Dunham and Thomas Dunham; her great grandchild Julia Annette Pederson; her stepgreat-grandchildren, Owen Lawrence and Jacie Dru Pederson; her sisters, Yvonne Bausman and Maxine Tostenson; and her brother-in-law Kenneth Boraas. She is also survived by fifteen nieces and nephews; and many friends.
