He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Bonnie of Appleton, MN; his children, Ben Vaala (Kelly) of Madison, MN, Laura Thomson (Cody) of Appleton, MN and Hannah Strand (Tygen) of Appleton, MN; his grandchildren, Harper, Deacon Vaala, Makia, Layton Thomson of Appleton, MN and Treysen Strand of Appleton, MN.; his parents, Jim Vaala and Darlene Vaala of Madison, MN; and his siblings, Jody Longman (Tim), Barb Raymo (Greg) of Worthington, MN, Bruce Vaala (Carmen) of Madison, MN and Heidi Clark (Bryan) of Madison, MN. He was also cherished by many nieces, nephews and cousins and friends.
