He was predeceased by: his parents, Hubert Thelen and Mary Thelen; his brother-in-law Paul Morrissey; his parents-in-law, Mary and Bill Johnsen; and his pet Sydney.
He is survived by: his wife Jill Johnsen; his children, Andrea Riley (Keven) and Alex Thelen (Emma); his grandchildren, Liam, Hazel and Kendall; his pet Jaxsen; and his siblings, JoAnn Morrissey, Pat Thielman (Bob), Rick Thelen (Sue), Jim Thelen and MaryKay Pfannenstein (Mike). He is also survived by nieces, nephews, close family and many good friends.
