She was predeceased by: her parents, Ralph Mitchell and Mary Mitchell; her husband Jim Savage; her former husband Merle Jones; her sister Barb Van Laar; her son James Allen Savage; and her grandson James H..

She is survived by: her daughter Connie Thiewes (Bruce); and her grandchildren, Anna Andrews (Lance), Cassie Thiewes, Jamie Schaefer (Chris), Erin Pritchett (Shawn), Jessica Savage and Tyler Savage (Emily). She is also survived by 12 great-grandchildren.
