Robert D. Metcalf Obituary

Metcalf of Apple Valley, Minnesota, born in Wausau, Wisconsin, whose life came to an end on October 18, 2024 at the age of 103, leaving behind cherished memories. He was predeceased by: his parents, George Metcalf and Nellie Cordelia Dale Metcalf; his siblings, Geneva Stahnke and Norman Metcalf (Christine McLean Metcalf); and his daughter Dale Ann Metcalf.

He is survived by: his son Scott (Clareen Kiel Metcalf); his granddaughters, Alyssa (Brian Wiczek) of Maple Grove, MN and Megan (Kyle Fritze) of Apple Valley, MN; his great grandchildren, Henry, Davis, George and Johanna; and his son-in-law Lehigh Torgenson. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.

A celebration of life was held on Saturday, October 26th 2024 at 1:00 PM at the Orchard Path (5400 157th St W, Apple Valley, MN 55124). Just before COVID hit, Bob moved into an assisted living facility in Apple Valley, where he was able to spend his remaining time close to his family.
