It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Raymond Joseph Marthaler of Apple Valley, Minnesota, who passed away on September 11, 2023, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph Marthaler and Theresa Marthaler; his brothers, Joseph (Jeanette) and Donald Marthaler; his brother-in-law Marshall McDonough; and his parents-in-law, Bill and Ann Heuer.

He is survived by: his wife Betty; his children, Mark Marthaler (Dede), Beth Kaup (Jeff) and Glen Marthaler (Terry); his grandchildren, Dana, Adam Marthaler, Jake Kaup (Rosie) and Nick Kaup (Meg); his sisters, Mary McDonough and JoAnne Southworth (John); and his sister-in-law Phyllis Rascher. He is also survived by 4 great grandchildren, many relatives and friends.
