He was predeceased by: his mother Elaine Schauer (Patrick); and his stepfather Richard Weber. He is survived by: his children, Nicholas Ryan Schauer of Alexandria and Jordan Elisabeth Schauer of Alexandria; his sisters, April Brejcha (Brad) of Alexandria, Sue Schultz of Edina and Stephanie Moe of Oceanside, California.; and his nieces and nephews, Cassie Willemstyn (Daniel), Patrick Brejcha (Megan), Vanessa Brejcha, Sean Schultz (Winona), Kyle Schultz (Hannah Fox), Matthew, Megan, Sarah Navratil, AJ Holland, Noah, Caleb Brejcha, Eleonore and Monte Schultz.
Randy's children, Nick and Jordan, honored his wishes to donate his organs, which has already resulted in the gift of life being given to many people.
