She was predeceased by: her parents, Alvin Sunderman and Melinda Sunderman (Otte); her husband Rev. Norman Discher; her daughter Sharon Johnston; and her siblings, LaVern (Jenny), Darrell Sunderman, Leora Sunderman (Max), Darleen Wilson (Robert) and Donald.
She is survived by: her sons, Ken (Lori) of Des Moines, IA and Brian of Eagan, MN; her son-in-law Jeff Johnston of Farmington, MN; her grandchildren, Lee Discher, Bethany West (Jonathan), Courtney Johnston and Luke Johnston; and her sister-in-law Shirley Sunderman. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and other family and friends.
In lieu of flowers, memorials preferred to The Concordia Lutheran Seminary, St. Louis, MO, and Christ Lutheran Church, Eagan, MN.
