He was predeceased by: his former wife Nancy Mortenson (Edin); his parents, Louis Mortenson and Ella Mortenson (Wickstrom); and his siblings, Martin, Marie Otto, Olive Lowery and Hazel Mortenson.
He is survived by: his wife Jan; his brother Carl Mortenson (Jeanie); and his stepsons, Mark and Scott Chamberlain (Jill). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
