She was predeceased by: her parents, Peter Jacobs and Clara Jacobs (Troseth); her husband Edwin Volkert; and her siblings, Eleanor Ohmann and Robert Jacobs.
She is survived by: her daughters, Diane Volkert-Ring (Larry), Deb Volkert and Denise Volkert; her granddaughters, Amelia, Alexis and Rachel; and her sister-in-law Lucille Sjulstad. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.
In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred to the Trinity Lone Oak Lutheran School Acorn Scholarship Fund.
