He was predeceased by: his parents, Theodore and Idah; his wife Virginia Dresen; and his siblings, Helena Rentz, Jeanne Ploof (Vern), Bud (Colleen) and Dick Rentz.
He is survived by: his children, Julie Burns (Dale), Sandra Bebler (Keith), Michael Rentz (Teresa), Lori Cariveau (Troy) and Angela Hofstad (Randy); his grandchildren, Joshua Hoyt (Samantha), Brandon Hoyt (Courtney), Tyler Hoyt (Courtney), Kyle Bebler, Emily Kelly (Sean), Cecily Smith (Andy), McKenzie Rentz, Madisyn Rentz, Zachary Cariveau and Nicholas Barstad; and his sister-in-law Jan Rentz. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Visitation was held on Monday, December 23rd 2024 at 11:00 AM at the White Funeral Home (14560 Pennock Ave, Apple Valley, MN 55124). A funeral service was held on Monday, December 23rd 2024 at 12:00 PM at the White Funeral Home - Apple Valley (14560 Pennock Ave, Apple Valley, MN 55124).
In lieu of flowers memorials will be donated to Alzheimer's research.
