He was predeceased by: his wife Jean; his brother Roger; and his son-in-law Buz Dahl. He is survived by: his children, Carol Dahl of Ramsey and Bob Pearson (Maureen) of Dana Point, CA; his grandchildren, Joelle (John Crannick), Tori (Jerome Dahlgreen) and Duncan Dahl (Mallory Chabre); and his great grandchild Everly Crannick.
