He was predeceased by: his father Warren C. Nelson; his stepfather Ebbie C. Stone; and his nephew Jarvis J. Hartfiel. He is survived by: his mother Gloria Stone (Johnson); and his sisters, Jacquelyn Nelson, Linda Kriesel (Nelson), Joelle (Stone) and Alvord (Warren Alvord).
