He was predeceased by: his parents, Peter Sorteberg and Ida Sorteberg; and his siblings, Leland Sorteberg (Meryle), Elaine Farrell (Russ), Marilyn Clark (Don), Dorothy Downing (Art), Allen Sorteberg (Elaine) and Marge Portnoff (Alexei).
He is survived by: his children, Corrin Sorteberg, LeAnn Simpson (Frank), Scott Sorteberg, Peter Sorteberg (Lisa), Karen Sorteberg and Paul Sorteberg (Kris); his grandchildren, Christine, Andy, Ashley, Matt, Jake, Emma, Tricia and Alex; and his great grandchildren, Isaac, Ben, Kennedy and Linden.
