He is survived by: his wife Gladys Thul; his children, Steve (Adri), Lori (Jim) and Linda (Mart); his grandchildren, Leah (Matt), Brianna (Evan), Jake and Ruby; his great grandchildren, Connor, Myles and Brooke; his siblings, Theresa (Gerald), John and Victor (Melda); and his friend Bob.

When he sold the business, he began one of his favorite jobs, driving school bus, a job he continued until the pandemic.
