We bid farewell to Penny Flick of Anoka, Minnesota, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on November 17, 2024 at the age of 83. Penny touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. In the hush of twilight, as the stars twinkle in silent homage, we reflect on the legacy Penny leaves behind and her impact on the lives of her loved ones. Though Penny may no longer walk among us, her spirit lives on in the memories held dear by her family and friends, a guiding light that illuminates their paths in times of darkness.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Roderick Bott and Leona Bott (Jorgenson); and her siblings, Roderick, Jr. and Genie. She is survived by: her husband William "Bill"; and her children, Daniel, Mark and Michele Knechtel (Karl). She is also survived by 12 grandchildren, 8 great grandchildren, one great-great granddaughter, and her nephews.
Visitation will be held on Friday, November 22nd 2024 from 3:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Thurston-Lindberg Funeral Home (2005 Branch Ave, Anoka, MN 55303). A funeral service will be held on Friday, November 22nd 2024 at 4:00 PM at the same location. A burial will be held on Monday, November 25th 2024 at 1:00 PM at the Forest Hill Cemetery (514 E Columbia St, Chippewa Falls, WI 54729).
