He was predeceased by: his brother Merle; and his parents, Lawrence and Violet. He is survived by: his sons, Bo Falcon (Sarah), Kevin DeRung (Beth) and Kurt DeRung; his grandchildren, Gavin, Allison, Sydney, Maverick and Paisley; and his siblings, Virgil DeRung (Vicki), Vern DeRung (Mary), Joyce Ascheman (Jack) and Dale DeRung (Karen).
