She was predeceased by: her husband Ralph Dauwen Thyken; and her sisters, Beverly Block and Lois Kurth. She is survived by: her children, Michael (Rebecca) of Minneapolis, MN, Daniel (Leanne) of Anoka, MN and Elizabeth Henderson (Scott) of Winterset, IA; her grandchildren, Steven (Garrett) and Kathleen; and her siblings, Jeanne Koran (George) of St. Paul, MN and Jim Momberger of St. Paul, MN.
Due to the Covid pandemic, the family will not hold a visitation or funeral.
