She was predeceased by: her parents, Edwin Thorne and Rita Thorne; and her brothers, John and Richard. She is survived by: her husband Al Schmitz; and her children, Connie Stokes (Colin), David Schmitz (Liane), Mark Schmitz (Gina), Cheryl Dischinger (Donald), James Schmitz (Laura) and Robert Schmitz (Kris). She is also survived by 17 Grandchildren, 15 Great Grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, donations received at the visitation will be donated to Lorraine's two favorite charities.
