He was predeceased by: his mother Beatrice McGillivray (Haugen). He is survived by: his father Jack McGillivray; his sister Dawn Sorenson (Dean); his niece Kristin Brown (Tony); his great-nieces and great-nephews, Kora and Ivan; and his niece Maddy Legred-Sorenson (Spencer).
