She was predeceased by: her parents, Lilly Buan (Domier) and Olai Buan; her husband Cliff Nelson; her daughter Kristen; her brother Orion; and her sister-in-law Verniece.
She is survived by: her children, Jeff and Kari Wangsness; her son-in-law Erik Wangsness; her grandchildren, Hans (Radhika), Kristen (Clémentine), Nels and Thea; and her siblings, Gary, Linda Nelson, Jeanette, Phil Fauchald, Sharon and Miles Bredeson. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
