We are sad to announce that on March 16, 2025, James Merton Neilson of Anoka, Minnesota, born in Minneapolis, Minnesota passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his former wife Jacqueline Neilson; his parents, Merton Neilson and Mayme Neilson; his sister Mary Jean Kreuter; and his son Thomas Michael Neilson.
He is survived by: his children, Steven Neilson (Kathy), Debra Enebak (Scott) and Scott Neilson (Michelle); his grandchildren, Tara McDonough (Kevin), Lindsay Mossinger (Matthew), Brian Neilson (Samantha Heineck), Madison Röbbecke (Kai), Meghan Benton, Nolan and Colin Neilson; his great grandchildren, Valerie McDonough, Ellis, Theo, Ethan Mossinger, Emma Neilson and Ida Röbbecke; and his wife Jackie Pennar of Alexandria.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorials to be sent to St. Stephen's Catholic School, 506 Jackson Street, Anoka, MN 55303, for the scholarship fund in memory of Thomas M. Neilson.
