It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Elwood Carlson of Anoka, Minnesota, who passed away on August 24, 2021, at the age of 86, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his former wife Jane; and his parents, Erwin and Alice. He is survived by: his wife Dianne; his sons, Michael and Dale; and his sisters, Audriene Kvitek (Norman), Janice Petermann and Claryce Iverson (Duane). He is also survived by 4 grandchildren; 7 great-grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers memorials preferred to Zion Lutheran Church or American Cancer Society.

“My Condolences go out to the entire Family of Elwood. I have many good childhood memories as I was a young boy living next-door in Coon Rapids to the Carlson family of Elwood, Jane, Michael, and Dale, in the early 1960's. In 2019, I dropped-in to visit with Elwood in Anoka, and we were reminiscing the old days, including when Elwood worked at "Consolidated Breeders, Incorporated", in Coon Rapids. We had a wonderful 1-hour conversation. Elwood will be missed.”
