He was predeceased by: his wife Joan; his parents, Frank and Lucy; and his brother Orville. He is survived by: his children, Jerry, Deb, Doug (Lynn), Darlene (Michael) and Greg (Tracey); his grandchildren, Brian, Eric (Samantha), Lauren, Jeff, Chris (Felicia), Nick (Georgia), Jonell (Eric) and Kyle; his great grandchildren, Oliver, Matthew, Joann and Ivy; his siblings, Bob (Sharon) and Bea Johnson; and his close friend Carol. He is also survived by nieces, nephews.
Visitation was held on Monday, October 14th 2024 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Tuesday, October 15th 2024 at 10:00 AM at the Thurston-Lindberg Funeral Home (2005 Branch Ave, Anoka, MN 55303). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, October 15th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the Zion Lutheran Church (1601 4th Ave, Anoka, MN 55303).
