He was predeceased by: his parents, Albert and Emma; and his sisters, MaryLou Angrimson, Darleen Schoep and BettyAnn Redepenning.

He is survived by: his wife Betty; his children, Darrel Redepenning (Donna), Deb Rede and Joleen Connoy (Paul); his grandchildren, Robert Redepenning (Sara), Michael Redepenn, Ryan Connoy (Meghan) and Megan Oelrich (Mark); his great grandchildren, Tommy, Alison, Caden, Kennedy and Olive; his siblings, Ivy Redfield, Willis Redepenning, Donna Peterson, Phyllis Cram and Charles Redepenning (LeRona); and his sisters-in-law, Doreen Bradley and Irene Alexander.

In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred to a Veteran's cause of donor's choice.
