It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Dolores Pauline Nelson of Anoka, Minnesota, who passed away on January 23, 2022, at the age of 92, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

She was predeceased by: her husband Jack; and her siblings, Evald, Lawrence, Wes, Irene, Pearl, Wally, Gen and Lovey.

She is survived by: her children, Jeanne, Cyndy (Scott) and Greg; her grandchildren, Elizabeth Krinke (Matt) and Brian; her great grandchild Charlotte; her brother Luther Carlson (Mavis); and her sister-in-law Carol Nelson.

In lieu of flowers, memorials preferred to Zion Lutheran Church.

“I'm so sorry for your loss. She lived such a servant life. To Delores and the family, I say "Thank you for giving to the Lord. Mine was a life that was changed (saved!)." She was seemingly a super being that the Lord used to get many of us over/through insurmountable hurdles and challenges. She generously opened her home to offer assurance, encouragement and stability. Her example will not be in vain. Her life will always be celebrated. -- Joanie B”

“What a blessing your mom was to our family all of her life. There just aren't big enough words for how much we loved her. She set up an in-home hospice before there was one to take care of Rosemary and us kids when Mom passed away in 1969. And was there for Dad at Autumn Glen. I'd thank her every time I saw her and she'd say "It's what we do". She represented everything beautiful about the world; loving unconditionally and being of service to others.
