She was predeceased by: her husband Orval J. Bies; her parents, Gilma Hinsverk (Kingland) and John C. Hinsverk; and her siblings, Evelyn, Lorraine (Ondov), Cleo, Donald and John.
She is survived by: her children, Jim (Susan) of Sioux Falls, SD, Martha Hauck (Peter) of Brooklyn Park and Elizabeth Smith (Vince) of Baudette, MN; and her grandchildren, Ryan, Erik Bies, Andrew Hauck, Alissa and Evan Smith.
Visitation will be held on Friday, November 1st 2024 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the Zion Lutheran Church (1601 4th Ave, Anoka, MN 55303). A celebration of life will be held on Friday, November 1st 2024 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorials be directed to the to the prayer ministry program at Zion Lutheran Church.
