He was predeceased by: his brothers, Wayne and Loren; his sister-in-law Sandra; and his parents, Frederick Wetterlind and Violet Wetterlind.

He is survived by: his wife Martha Jane Wetterlind; his sons, Brian (Denise), Jeffrey (Julie) and David (Kerry); his grandchildren, Joshua (Tiffany), Andrew, Kelsey (Ioannis), Emily and Sarah; his great grandchildren, Rowan, Reed and Russell; and his sister Darlene Olene.
