It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Colleen Zimmerman (Anoka, Minnesota), born in Little Falls, Minnesota, who passed away on November 20, 2020, at the age of 70, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Gerald "Earl" and Magdelene "Madge" McGuire (Meehl); her sisters, Mary Ellen Schaffer and Carolyn McGuire; and her son-in-law Jack Gill.
She is survived by: her husband Gerald Zimmerman; her children, Lynn Gill of Savage, MN, Mark Zimmerman (Betsy) of Minnetonka, MN and Tony Zimmerman (Carol Vetter-Lane) of Becker, MN; her grandchildren, Brandon, Matthew Gill, Sophie and Emma Zimmerman; and her siblings, Whitey McGuire of Costa Mesa, CA, Michael McGuire (Susan) of Costa Mesa, CA, Daniel McGuire (Abigail) of Costa Mesa, CA, Dennis McGuire (Joan) of Seattle, WA, Patrick McGuire (Rebecca) of Lytle, TX and Kimberly Rasmussen of Little Falls, MN. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Colleen was very concerned about the finances of her home parish of St. Stephens Catholic Church during these times of Covid-19, so in lieu of flowers, memorials preferred to St. Stephens Catholic Church, Anoka, MN.
