It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Rudy Nielsen Tokkesdal (Annandale, Minnesota), born in Buffalo Lake, Minnesota, who passed away on September 14, 2019, at the age of 79, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, John Tokkesdal and Dora Tokkesdal (Krueger); his parents-in-law, Max and Marion Mahlstedt; his daughter Doris Tokkesdal; his grandson Jarod VonRueden; his sister Esther Schmalz; and his siblings-in-law, Jim Aufderheide and Marvel Mahlstedt.
He is survived by: his wife Joyce Tokkesdal; his children, Wayne Tokkesdal (Sharon) of Buffalo, MN, Renee VonRueden (Peter) of Clyman, WI and Randy Tokkesdal of Buffalo, MN; his grandchildren, Julie Pagano (Nick), Jamie Tokkesdal-Harms, John Tokkesdal (Laura), Jolene Hawes (Jesse), Aaron VonRueden, Alison Tokkesdal and Jack Tokkesdal; his sister Sylvia Aufderheide; and his siblings-in-law, Marvin Schmalz, Gloria Paul (Dick), Dennis Mahlstedt (Adele) and Shirley Havisto (Bill). He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, other family and friends.
