She was predeceased by: her parents, Awalt Freiberg and Theresa Freiberg (McAlpine); and her siblings, Richard, Milo Freiberg, Dorothy Muller, Mary Bouchard and Patty Saksa.
She is survived by: her husband Paul Poepping of Annandale; her sons, Jeff Carlson of Haleiwa, HI, Brad Carlson (Kristine) of Anchorage, AK, Steven Poepping (Samaria) of Annandale and David Poepping (Lillian) of Bloomington; her grandchildren, Andrew, Devin, Aiden, Sebastian, Christian, Azreayela, Emmanuel and Micah; her stepgrandson Raymond; and her siblings, Walter Freiberg (Debra) of Queen Creek, AZ, Sheila Carlson of Annandale, Pat Freiberg (Denise) of Annandale, Mike Freiberg (Rosie) of Moose Lake, Lee Freiberg (Brian Dorsher) of Annandale, Doris Kroll (John) of Monticello, Alan Freiberg of Jessie, ND and Adam Freiberg (Lisa) of Buffalo. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, other family members and friends.
Memorials are preferred to Guardian Angels Hospice.
