He was predeceased by: his parents, Alex Lantto and Hilda Lantto (Salmi); his wife Shirley Martinson; his siblings, Elmer, George, Harry, William, Ben, Robert Lantto, Emma Ollanketo, Mabel Forare, Mary Sandell, Elsie Lantto and Anna Josephson; and his granddaughter Robin Robasse.
He is survived by: his children, Joyce Lantto of Minneapolis, Patricia Lantto of Hutchinson, Carol Lantto-Adams (Cedric Adams) of St. Paul, Gary Lantto (Darlene) of Annandale, Nancy Rome (Ronald) of Annandale and Mike Lantto of Annandale. He is also survived by 15 grandchildren; 22 great-grandchildren; and 1 great-great-grandchild.
