He was predeceased by: his father James Provo; and his nephew Andrew Heberling. He is survived by: his mother Annella Provo (Rohling) of Annandale; and his siblings, Tom of Maple Lake, Mary Jo Heberling of Monticello, Paul (Cindy) of Maple Lake, Carol Becker (Roger Swenson) of Maple Lake, Ron of Annandale, Dan (Tracy) of Monticello, Lois Kaczrowski (Terry) of Monticello, Rosemary Norgren (Tim) of Annandale, Jim (Holly) of Monticello and Kevin (Laura Pater) of Maple Lake. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
