The memory of Leon Henry Zachman of Annandale, Minnesota, who passed away on December 29, 2024 at the age of 84, will forever remain in the hearts of those touched by this precious presence in their lives. He was predeceased by: his parents, Nick Zachman and Lorena Zachman (Schmitz); his grandson Matthew; his sister Mary Scherber; and his brothers-in-law, Rich Scherber and Orin Holtan.
He is survived by: his children, Jerry (Kathy) of Dell Rapids, SD, Joanie Huebner (George) of Oak Grove, Jim (Karen) of St. Michael, Julie Fietek (Earl) of Dalton, Jennifer Daleiden (Chuck) of Otsego and Jessica Boevers (Peter) of Chanhassen; and his siblings, Geraldine Feidler (Douglas) of Elk River, Harlan Zachman (Janet) of Rice and Shirley Holtan-Throndset (Jerry) of Burnsville. He is also survived by 13 grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Friday, January 3rd 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Saturday, January 4th 2025 from 9:30 AM to 10:30 AM. A Mass of Christian burial was held on Saturday, January 4th 2025 at 10:30 AM at the St. Ignatius Catholic Church (35 Birch St E, Annandale, MN 55302).
Memorials are preferred to St. Ignatius or for Masses.
