He is survived by: his wife Jill Bowers; his children, Jessica Bowers of Shakopee and Joshua Bowers (Monya) of Annandale; his grandchildren, Alexis Kelzer and Jaxxtin Bowers; his sister Jeri Bowers of Cologne; his mothers-in-law, Judy Bowdin and LaVerne Lysdahl; and his sister-in-law Linda Lysdahl (Alan Burnett). He is also survived by many other relatives and friends.
