He is survived by: his wife Mary Dockweiler; his children, Peter Wittsack (Judy), Carol Steinmetz (Mark), Paul Wittsack (Michelle) and Jeanne DeBord (Dale Hansen); his grandchildren, Holly Wittsack, Heather Wittsack Barron, Hayley Wittsack, Heidi Wittsack, Laura Wittsack Britt, Kelly DeBord, David Wittsack, Kevin DeBord and Rebecca Steinmetz Bledsoe; and his great grandchildren, Kayla Wittsack, Grace DeBord, Alexander Britt, Blake DeBord, Eleanor Bledsoe and Teagan DeBord.
