He is survived by: his parents, Matthias Shir and Jemina Shir (Lidberg) of Pine City; his siblings, Elaia, Zemirah and Lydia Shir; his grandparents, Marklan, Carla Shir, Joel and Julie Lidberg; and his great-grandparents, Martin Shir, Paul and Carol Sahlstrom. He is also survived by many aunts, uncles, and cousins.
