He was predeceased by: his parents, Warren Custer and Agnes Custer; his wife Carolyn Vaughn; his daughter-in-law Diane; his siblings, James, Milton, Amos, Donald, Wayne, Pearl Gruenhagen, Evelyn May and Genevieve Miller; and his nephew Rick Wessman.
He is survived by: his children, Rick (Laura) of Loretto, Dan (Kris Boege) of Nisswa and Kathy Dahlgren (Dean) of Andover; his nephew Randy Wessman of Exeland, WI; his grandchildren, Kyle, Corie, Megan, Libby, Erik, Caitlan and Teresa; his great grandchildren, Saydee, Sicily, Raymond, Harper, Avery, Addison and Seidl; and his sister Delores Wessman of Burnsville. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, other family members and friends.
