With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Colleen Edna Vinkemeier of Annandale, Minnesota, born in Willmar, Minnesota, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on November 2, 2024 at the age of 73. She was predeceased by: her parents, Murlin Olson and Edna Olson (Borgstrom); her husband Gary; her brother Douglas Olson; and her brother-in-law Gene Vinkemeier.
She is survived by: her friend Maggie; her children, Jeff Vinkemeier (Tina) and Amy Halquist (Dave) of Henderson; her grandchildren, Courtney Waller (David), Carley Schroyer (Trev), Collin (Olivia), Caleb, Cadee Vinkemeier, Morgan, Olivia and Montgomery Halquist; her great grandchildren, Ellerie, Bentley, Hudson, Noah, Isla Waller, Landon and Liam Schroyer; her sister Patty Crawford; and her in-laws, Martha Olson, Harlan (Nena), Ed (Kathy), Dean Vinkemeier (Pat), Kathy Ernst (Doug) and Steve Schilling (Wendy). She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, other family members and friends.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, November 9th 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the St. John's Lutheran Church (331 Harrison St W, Annandale, MN 55302). A memorial service will be held on Saturday, November 9th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
