He was predeceased by: his parents, Kenneth Hayes and Frances Hayes (Hills); and his sister Margaret Hayes. He is survived by: his wife Irine Hayes; his children, McKinley Hayes (Elizabeth) of Hamel, Lucas Hayes of French Lake and Maria Hayes of French Lake; his grandchildren, Nonawhyn, Bodhi, Phoenix and Zephyrus; and his siblings, Terry Hayes, Pat Hayes (Linda), Larry Hayes, Becky Utecht, Ken Hayes and Mike Hayes.

Memorials are preferred to the family.
