She was predeceased by: her daughter Cindy Barthel; her grandson Ben Ogren; and her siblings, Florence and Laverne "Shorty". She is survived by: her husband Harlan J. Schirmers of Annandale; her children, Debra Schirmers (Tony Bollin) of Foley, Brian Schirmers of Hanover, Vicky Stimpson (Marlin) of Elk River and Tammy Schirmers (Chris Chase) of Clear Lake; and her son-in-law Mike Barthel. She is also survived by 13 grandchildren & 22 great grandchildren; other relatives and friends.
Visitation was held on Sunday, February 16th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the Peterson Chapel St. Michael-Albertville Funeral Home (300 Main St N, St Michael, MN 55376). A funeral service was held on Sunday, February 16th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
