He was predeceased by: his parents, Severt Nielsen and Nellie Nielsen; his wife Pauline; and his siblings, Jim, Fred, Everette, Cora, Nora, Kenny, Lucy, Eugene, LaVerne, Wanda and Richard.
He is survived by: his sons, Paul Thomas and Mark Richard (Pam); his grandchildren, Joshua Abraham (Emily), Danielle Nicole (Jesse Trowbridge), Benjamin Peter (Taylor) and Samiel David (Sarah); his great grandchildren, Theodore Jesse Trowbridge, Logan Jesse Trowbridge, Esther Jean Trowbridge, Lillian Noelle Nielsen and Matthias Thomas Nielsen; and his sister Patti Luft (Steve).
