She was predeceased by: her parents, Melvin Knutson and Miranda Knutson (Ruud); her children, Gregg Sorenson and Gail Baublitz; her grandson Nathan Sorenson; her siblings, Elmo Knutson (Verna), Ardis Rognas (Gene), James Knutson (Pat) and Kenneth Knutson; and her former husband Al Sorenson.

She is survived by: her children, Gary Sorenson (Brita) and Gwen Flaherty (Dan); her grandchildren, Aaron Sorenson (Jamie), Adam Sorenson, Aric Sorenson (Lisa), Ashley Sutherland (Travis), Kyle Flaherty (Amie), Keni Freitas (Josh), Daniel Green, Josh Baublitz, Jordan Baublitz, Jessi Sorenson and Jo Sorenson; her sister Darlene Komar; her son-in-law Randy Baublitz; and her sister-in-law Charlene Knutson. She is also survived by many other relatives and friends.
