He was predeceased by: his wife Jennifer; his parents, Robert Akers and Darleen Akers; and his mother-in-law Audrey Smith. He is survived by: his sons, Zachary Barnett and Spencer Jamison (Kayla); his sisters, Marcia Sjulstad (Steve) and Jayne Aukland; his siblings-in-law, Petra Anderson (Ben), Shawna Fiore (Chris) and Lyndon Smith (Vickie); his father-in-law Richard Smith; and his close friends, Diesel, Memphis and Hemi. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
