He is survived by: his wife Chong; his children, Koreen Hays (John), Karisa Merrill (Dan), John (Liliana) and Jessica Ruud (Jake); his grandchildren, Chelsea, John, Joshua and River; and his siblings, Lindsey Derence, Mary Derence, Angel Kopcie (Bernie) and David Derence (Lea). He is also survived by niece & nephew.
