With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Joan Kay Wester (Andover, Minnesota), born in Amery, Wisconsin, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on February 13, 2025 at the age of 77. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
In the sacred silence of farewell, Joan Kay is released into the embrace of eternity, knowing that her light will continue to shine brightly in the tapestry of the lives of her loved ones. And as her memory is carried forward, may comfort be found in the knowledge that love is eternal, and that Joan Kay's spirit lives on in the beauty that surrounds us.
She was predeceased by: her son Jason; her parents, Berniece Blomberg and Howard Blomberg; and her siblings, Jenean and Howard.
She is survived by: her husband John; her children, Jennifer Magers (Aaron) and Jonathan Wester; her granddaughter Jules Garcia (Jonathan); and her siblings, Brenda Salseg (Bob) and Andy. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Monday, February 24th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Constance Free Church (16150 Crosstown Blvd NW, Andover, MN 55304). A memorial service will be held on Monday, February 24th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
