She was predeceased by: her parents, Clayton Swerig and Marie Swerig (Quale); her husband Bernie Bennin of Cambridge, WI; and her brother Rufus Swerig. She is survived by: her daughters, Gloria Wakamiya (Richard) of Fair Oaks, CA and Patricia Pederson (Dale) of Andover, MN; her grandchildren, Kris Wakamiya (Carolina) of Citrus Heights, CA, Kaia Schindlbeck (Robert), Ryan Wakamiya (Martha) of Enschede Netherlands, Sonja Pederson of Minneapolis and Thomas Pederson of Andover, MN; and her great grandchildren, Leonardo, Santiago, Isabella Wakamiya, Lucy and Ben Shindlbeck.
Visitation was held on Monday, February 3rd 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Grace Lutheran Church (501 Skogen Rd, Cambridge, WI 53523). A funeral service was held on Monday, February 3rd 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
