He was predeceased by: his parents, Edwin and Emma; his former wives, LaVerne "Busy" Vogel and Delora Putnam Vogel; and his siblings, Glayde Jeske, Verna Brickson, Bob Jeske, Dale Jeske, Marvyl Hoffman and Bill Vogel.
He is survived by: his son Steve Hoffman (Jeanna); his wife Marilyn Vogel; his children, Tim Vogel (Jeanie) and Becki Kelvington (Doran); and his stepchildren, John Moe (Lynn), Joe Moe (Karen), Jeff Moe, James Castro and Jina Niederer (Tom). He is also survived by 10 grandchildren, 13 great grandchildren, 5 step grandchildren, 3 step great grandchildren, and many nephews and nieces.
In lieu of flowers, the family prefers memorials to Together Place Church.
