She was predeceased by: her parents, Cornelius DeValk and Marjorie DeValk; her brother Gary DeValk; her nephew Johnny Bertelsen; and her great-niece Emily Lewandowski.

She is survived by: her husband Darrell; her daughters, Michelle Heltemes (Kyle), Angela Kraft (Randy) and Marlene Minkler (Jeremy Lund); her stepson James Quire (Kristina); her grandchildren, Heather, Shawn, Cameron, Noah, Amber, Ryan, Eli and Lujien; her great grandchild Mason; her siblings, Judy Lewandowski (Bill), Sue Bibeau (John), David DeValk and Cheri Ayd (Jeff Jordan); and her sister-in-law Sheila. She is also survived by other loving relatives and friends.
