It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Mervin G. Tonn (Amboy, Minnesota), who passed away on March 21, 2020, at the age of 94, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Frederick Tonn and Lydia Tonn (Wester); his wife Violet Lillian Urban; his grandson Aaron Morrison; his siblings, Lorenz Tonn and Elna Reinke; his mother-in-law Selma Urban; and his brother-in-law Martin Tonn.
He is survived by: his children, Ruth Braun (Dennis), Paulette Booker (James) of Mankato, David Tonn (Anne) of Ortonville, Jayne Tonn of Fairmont, Deb Morrison (Randy) of Amboy and Kenneth Tonn (Diane) of Brooklyn Park; his nephews, Ronald Reinke (Mary) of Vernon Center and Leonard Reinke (Barb) of Amboy; and his grandchildren, Laura Braun, Joel Braun, Andrew Braun (Charis), Jana Renzelmann (Matt), Travis Morrison (Angie), Tyler Morrison (Megan), Katie Eisenger (Bob), Gina Tonn and Ryan Harris. He is also survived by 3 great-grandchildren; and many more family and friends.
